Denied: Bid Error

Matter of: Environmental Quality Management, Inc., 2010 U.S. Comp. Gen. B-402247.2 (March 9, 2010)

A bidder argued that the government misconstrued a mis-typed number as a much more significant error. But since getting this particular number wrong was material to the bid requirements, that argument failed.

The Department of the Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment (AFCEE) received 30 bids for a project involving construction and environmental restoration at Department of Defense locations aroundthe world.
