In June 2002, Alliance General Contractors, LLC (Alliance)entered into a fixedprice contract with the Army Corps of Engineers(Corps)for a road construction project.Alliance then subcontracted with Kirkland Construction L.L.L.P.(Kirkland)to perform the bulk of the work specified in the prime contract.After work began, Kirkland identified a conflict between the site conditions and the drawing labeled C 55.
