Defendant Unjustly Enriched By Use Of Unpaid Materials

The Court of Appeals of Michigan held that a general contractor was liable to plaintiffs for using the materials they had supplied to a subcontractor without paying for them. The plaintiffs prevailed in their unjust enrichment claim because the general contractor knew that they had not been paid.
