A Florida court has ruled that an arbitration clause in the AIA contract documents did not survive the project owner's wrongful termination of the contract.

The Aberdeen Golf & Country Club awarded a contract to Bliss Construction, Inc. to renovate and expand an existing clubhouse. The parties utilized AIA Document A201, "General Conditions of the Contract for Construction," 1997 edition.
