Consultant Fee Compensable If Necessitated By Change Changes-directed; Schedule

The U.S. Court of Federal Claims has ruled that a contractor's cost of retaining a scheduling consultant would be compensable if it was necessitated by a government contract modification, but not if it resulted from compliance with contractual sequencing requirements.

The Navy awarded a contract to P. R. Burke Corporation for improvements to a sewage treatment plant at Camp Pendleton, California.
