Waiver Applied To Fabricator And Building Contents Insurance; Waiver

A Washington court has ruled that a reciprocal waiver for insured property loss protected an off-site fabricator as well as the constructor. And the clause applied to the contents of the building as well as the structure itself.

Anderson Hay & Grain Company, Inc. awarded a contract to Tri-Ply Construction, Inc. to furnish and erect a prefabricated metal storage building manufactured by Varco Pruden Buildings, a subsidiary of United Dominion Industries, Inc. (UDI). Tri-Ply purchased the building from UDI for erection on Anderson's property in Ellensburg, Washington.
