Unilateral Termination Clause Enforced Termination

A Florida court has enforced a unilateral termination without cause provision, allowing the project owner to remove the contractor from the site on ten days notice. Avatar Development Corp. was developing a residential community in Hollywood, Florida. Avatar entered into a "Master Contract"with DePani Construction, Inc. for stucco work, as ordered by Avatar.
