Liquidation And Assignment Of Claim Enforced Claims Administration

A Kansas court has enforced a claim liquidation and settlement agreement where a project owner assigned its claims against the architect to the prime contractor and subcontractors.

The State of Kansas retained Brent Bowman and Associates Architects, P.A. to design the renovation and expansion of a library on the campus of Kansas State University. The State then awarded the prime construction contract to The Law Company, Inc. Law awarded several subcontracts.
